This morning I ran the Rex Lee Run for the third time. Well, by "ran," I mean, "participated in."
There was no running done by me.
I didn't lose, but I sure came close.
But I did finish. Here's Heidi and me about to cross the finish line. See that guy behind me, about to pass me? He ran the 10k. I walked 5. A man three or four times as old as that guy also passed me, also having run twice as long as I walked.
But they didn't give birth a month ago. I kept telling myself that.
You know those raffles at the end that no one ever wins? I won! I got two free cupcakes and two free drinks at the Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe. Yay for me.
