February 19

Heidi updated her blog, and since I want to be Heidi, I will update mine too.

I'm going to summer school to hurry graduation along, and it’s kind of like, “Ha! It’s summer and everyone else is outside playing! And you are in the library.”

But my classes are not bad at all. I have Music for Elementary School Teachers, Art for Elementary School Teachers, and Children’s Literature. They’re fun.

People who lived in Edgemont: Julie Anderson Clark taught my children’s literature class! Do you remember her? Mom said she did. Julie reminded me so much of Mom! They both have many similar mannerisms. I noticed new ones every day. It was fun to have a little piece of Mom here.

Ooh! I had all of Mom here, the other day. Dad too. They brought my sewing machine! I’ve made two things: A baby blanket and an art project. (The assignment was to make a collection. So I sewed a collection of flannel scraps together. I was more impressed with myself than my classmates were with me. Isn't that always how it is?)

Why am I taking up sewing? And hurrying along graduation? It’s a small reason. At least it’s small right now! Bryan and I will be welcoming a little one into our house next February.

See?

Yeah, me neither.

I think its Bryan who we should keep an eye on.
