Holly's got a blog!!!

How fun.

I'll dedicate this first entry to my Aunt Barb, whose computer this is and whose genius sparked the creation of this blog. Previous to this night, it was just a "someday I'll have a blog..." kind of a deal.

About the title of this blog: It's from Kung Fu Panda, when Panda saves some people from eminent desctruction and the guy says, "Panda, how can we ever repay you for your awesomeness?" And his daughter says, "And his attractiveness..." And Panda says, "There is no charge for awesomeness. Or attractiveness."

I have adopted that as my motto.

So, I moved out today, never to return! (until thanksgiving.) We're going camping for a week! And then on to Arizona. And then they'll open the sliding door, push me out at BYU, and go home. (I may have dramatized that a little bit.)

When we were sitting in the Salt Lake City airport, waiting to board, my mom was sitting next to this kid. He had all the signs of a "teenage porcupine," as they say. The rocker t-shirt, skater shoes, red mohawk, ipod. I went to play on the moving sidewalks, and she strikes up a conversation with him! Oh my gosh, mom is so cool! Kids that age really don't have enough adults who care about them.
