Trading Spaces

I am currently sitting in a sea of stuff. There's so much stuff here, I don't even want it all anymore. I've been shifting around all my stuff ever since I got into town Thursday afternoon.

I randomly came across this picture. And it pricked me to my very center...

That's going to be me someday.

I think it was Bryan's idea all along to move to make me realize how much stuff we had. Mom said, "Three moves is as good as a fire." To which Bryan said, "Woohoo! Let's move two more times!" I'm just glad he didn't say, "Woohoo! Let's burn our apartment down and then begin anew!"

We're still living in Wymount, so the apartment is basically the same as the last one. Same carpet, same counters, same walls, same tile. (It's a bit confusing when I step outside.) The only difference is that now, where we used to have a closet, we now have another room.

Oh yeah. The other thing is that now I'm sitting in a sea of stuff that I don't want anymore!

The thing old people never tell young people when they move is "pay attention to where you pack things and where you put them in your new apartment, or you will have a giant mess and you will be ticked at yourself."

Well, they'd probably have told me if they thought I would listen.

Kids these days.
